Traditional Aesthetics seamlessly marry modern features in a sleek contemporary design. This home is the gem of “Sportsmen’s Paradise”, a estimated 140± acre shared amenity community right on a trout filled 1.9 mile± stretch of the South Platte River. This home is stepped into a gently sloping hillside wrapped in a pallet of colors derived from those found in the natural surroundings, some landscape materials excavated from the site complement the bold roof lines, traditional aesthetics and modern features.
The interior staircase is made of beautifully finished solid Ipe wood, an extremely dense South American hardwood; the same wood used for the front deck cap railing as well as the spa decking and storage compartments. The flowing design of the solid black walnut front door welcomes guests into a 40’ x 20’ greatroom with 13′ ceilings lined westerly with Kolbe™ transom and sliding glass doors that lead out to a 53’ curved deck overlooking the homes focal-point, the oxbow bend of the South Platte River that arcs directly in front of the home. Opposite the front door at the far end of the greatroom is the indoor/outdoor fireplace and chase wrapped with solid black walnut shiplap. The stair way grab rails are black walnut along with the trim of the nine foot pool table and adjacent live edge TV shelf in the gameroom downstairs. Accents, again inspired by natural surroundings include elements of stacked stone wrapping the exterior, hardware trim is an oil rubbed bronze finish.
At its interior, warmth is created with natural earth tones in finishes throughout. Striking countertops, “Copper Dune” for their unique natural color originate from stone quarry in Italy. Stone tile, and copper accents allow the outside in and compliment the warm neutral tone walls and natural fabrics in furniture and window treatments. These carefully chosen materials accentuate the gorgeous brushed nickel finish of the Rohl fixtures that highlight the home.
Both high-tech and elegant, state of the art Sub-Zero/Wolf and Viking appliances set the stage for the most satisfying entertainment opportunities. In floor radiant heat warms seven individual areas perfectly to your desired Nest™ thermostat commands, this home provides both convenience and comfort. Spend time alone here in nature’s beauty taking in views of wandering wildlife; or try local excursions or longer ranging adventures with friends and family. Guests appreciate a wide array of ingredients for a satisfying Colorado respite, spontaneous or arranged itineraries from the best Colorado destinations all from this ultimate home base.

Physical Address Change to Traditional Sequence effective December 2015
On December 21, 2015, Park County GIS Department assigned properties in Sportsmen’s Paradise community with new, more traditional “sequential” addresses. The change was initiated mainly for emergency first responders ease of dispatch and history purposes. The new addresses have been adopted, however there are still no plans to deliver mail to this address so the PO Box will remain. Some delivery or freight companies do not have the new address in their systems yet. Communications have been sent to UPS, FedEx, and Google to update their systems.
